Smart inbox

Turn a voicemail into a customer, a job, and a quote

Paste in a phone transcript, an email, or a voice-to-text note. GoSmoko reads it and drafts the customer, the job, and a starting quote with the right GST — then waits for you to check it before anything is committed.

The problem

Work arrives as messages, not as forms. Someone has to sit down and re-type every enquiry into the system, and that someone is usually you, at nine at night.

What it does

How smart inbox works in GoSmoko

Reads the way people actually talk

Names, addresses, phone numbers, and the actual job are pulled out of ordinary messy language, not a structured form.

Drafts, not decisions

Everything it creates is a draft you review. Nothing is sent to a customer and nothing is invoiced without you.

Priced with your rates

The draft quote uses your GST rate and currency, so it is a starting point rather than a rewrite.

A backlog you can clear

Dump everything in during the day and process the lot in one sitting. Failures show the reason and can be retried.

Step by step

What you actually do

  1. 1

    Dump it in

Paste the transcript, email, or note and pick what kind of source it was.

  2. 2

    Process it

The extractor reads the text and drafts a customer, job, and quote.

  3. 3

    Check and send

Open the draft quote, adjust the pricing, and send it. Now it is a real quote.

The details that matter

  • Extraction runs through a Model Context Protocol server, so the same tools can be driven by your own AI assistant.
  • Failures are recorded against the intake item with the reason, and can be retried without re-pasting anything.
  • Nothing is emailed to a customer as a result of extraction — every outbound message still needs your action.

Questions

Before you switch

Does my customer data get used to train a model?

No. Extraction calls a provider API to process one message and return structured fields. Nothing is used for training.

What if the extraction gets it wrong?

You are reviewing a draft, so fix it before sending. If the extraction fails outright, the reason is shown and you can retry or enter the job by hand.
